Rolls-Royce has completed its first flight powered by 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel, advancing research into lower-emission aviation & contrail reduction

Rolls-Royce has announced its first 100% powered Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) flight, marking a key step in Gulfstream Aerospace’s high-altitude flight test campaign.

The journey involved Pearl 700 engines, powering a Gulfstream G800 flight.

This achievement demonstrates that SAF can be a reliable and sustainable option for aviation.
